Student Leaders Meet with Governor Little to Deliver a Resolution Supporting the Idaho LAUNCH Program
We are grateful to governor Little not only for taking the time to meet with us and discuss how LAUNCH is impacting our students, but also for his leadership in ensuring Idaho’s students have access to the programs and training they need to be competitive in the workforce. -

ASBSU Approves Constitutional Amendment to Expand Voting to More Students
The amendment moves us from determining participation based on fee-paying status, to now basing it on a student’s academic enrollment. Starting next spring in 2026, if you are a student taking at least three credits, you will be able to vote. -

We will continue to provide updates as the process evolves. I am grateful for the campus partners we have collaborated with to advance this proposal, and sincerely hope that our student representatives will vote in favor of expanding voting to more students. -

Notice of Constitutional Convention
Convention delegates, which are appointed by the ASBSU President, Academic Senate Leader, General Assembly Leader, and Review Board Chief, will convene on Tuesday, February 18th at 3:00pm in the Student Involvement Leadership Center (Student Union Building, above Buster’s Kitchen).
ASBSU Branches
ASBSU is made up of three branches that work together to advocate for students.
- The Executive Cabinet works closely with community and University leaders, and implements bills and resolutions.
- The Academic Senate and General Assembly (together, the Legislature) gather and report student input, in the form of bills and resolutions on which they vote.
- The Review Board acts as an impartial body to hold all of ASBSU accountable to our rules and to the student body.

Meeting Information
The following ASBSU meetings are public and are open to students and the greater Boise State community.
Executive Cabinet meetings: Fridays from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the Student Involvement & Leadership Center.
Senate and Assembly joint meetings: Mondays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the Jordan Ballroom, please check our CampusGroups page for meeting locations or tune into our meetings virtually on YouTube.
